Summary

TestrHub’s tests run in your browser. You do not need an account, and the results of your tests are not sent to us. This page explains what little data is processed, by whom, and the choices you have.

What stays on your device

  • Test results. They are calculated and displayed in your browser. They are only shared if you choose to copy a result link or download a result image yourself.
  • Files. Files you open in a file tool are read by your browser and are never uploaded.
  • Camera, microphone and location. They are used only when you start a test that needs them and your browser asks for your permission. The data is processed on your device and is never recorded or sent to us.
  • Preferences and history. The site remembers your theme choice, and some tests keep a short history of your previous runs, in your browser’s local storage. This data never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time.

Tests that use an external service

A few tests cannot work without an external service. For example, measuring your internet speed requires a server to download data from. These tests say so on their page and name the service they use.

When you run such a test, your browser connects directly to that service, which receives your IP address like any website you visit. For the password breach check, only the first five characters of a one-way hash of the password are sent, never the password itself.

Hosting and security

TestrHub is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We do not use analytics cookies. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Contact form

If you contact us, we receive your name, email address, subject, message and your IP address (used to prevent abuse).

  • The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the message is sent by a person and not a bot.
  • Messages are delivered to our inbox by Brevo, an email delivery service.
  • We use this information only to reply to you, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Advertising

TestrHub is free because it shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, based on your visits to this and other websites.

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised ads are only shown after you give your consent through a consent message. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of pages that show ads.

We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing the site and answering your messages, and on the basis of your consent for personalised advertising and any non-essential cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

TestrHub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or services change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update.
